Birth Doula Support – $1,400 (+tax)

FREE CONSULTATION

We’ll start with a free, no‑pressure visit to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your hopes for birth, any worries or questions you have, and how I can best support you. We’ll also go over my services, fees, and a payment plan that feels manageable.

PRENATAL VISITS

We’ll meet twice before your baby arrives. These visits are a chance to explore your birth preferences, comfort measures, and pain‑coping tools, and to talk about how you and your partner would like to work together. My goal is for you to feel heard, prepared, and supported. You are also encouraged to borrow from my lending library.

ON-CALL SUPPORT & COMMUNICATION

Once you book with me, you’ll have my phone number and can reach out with questions or concerns during pregnancy, in early labour, and for six weeks after birth. I’ll also let you know ahead of time if there are any dates I’m unavailable and introduce you to my backup doula if you’d like.

LABOUR & BIRTH SUPPORT

When you think labour may be starting, you can call or text me, even if you’re not ready for me to come yet. I’ll offer suggestions and reassurance over the phone, then join you at home when you’re ready. When it’s time to go to your birth place, I’ll come with you and stay by your side throughout labour and birth, except in rare, unexpected circumstances. You will also have access to my TENS machine during this time.

IF YOU HAVE A PLANNED CESAREAN

If you know you’ll be having a cesarean birth, I can support you before surgery, in the operating room if permitted, and in recovery. I’ll stay with you for several hours after birth to support feeding and settling in, and I’ll still provide postpartum visits at home.

WHAT I DON'T DO AS A DOULA

I’m not a medical professional, so I don’t perform clinical tasks, give medical advice, or make decisions for you. Instead, I help you understand your options, ask the questions you need, and feel confident in the choices you make. I don’t speak to staff instead of you, but I’m there to help you and your partner find your voice and feel supported in every conversation.

Postpartum Doula Support – $35–45/hr. (+tax)

(3‑hour minimum per visit)

Those first weeks with a new baby can be beautiful, messy, and overwhelming all at once. As a postpartum doula, I come alongside your family with calm, practical help and a lot of heart. My role is to “mother the mother” and gently honour this big transition.
During our visits, I can help with things like:

  • Light cleaning and simple meal prep so you can  rest

  • Breastfeeding support and bottle‑feeding help

  • Newborn care: babywearing, diapering, bathing, soothing

  • Caring for you as you heal and find your new rhythm

  • Respecting your pace, your feelings, and your unique way of doing things

Postpartum care with me can take place anytime within your baby’s first year. You’re welcome to book support in advance before baby arrives, or reach out on an as‑needed basis, as my availability allows. Because I also work on call for births, there may be rare times when I need to reschedule a visit to attend a labour—but I’ll always communicate clearly and do my best to find another time that works for you.

I offer in‑home postpartum support at $35–$45 per hour (depending on day/night and number of infants), booked in minimum 3‑hour blocks, so there’s enough time for you to exhale, be cared for, and feel truly supported.
